Fall 2020 & Winter 2021


​Tumbling classes have a 1:8 coach to athlete ratio. Athletes will work on tumbling technique and advancing their tumbling skills. Our classes are a 45 minute structured session, once a week. Tumbling classes are held on Saturdays beginning Fall 2020. We recommend our classes to all of our competitive team members, however classes are open to non-members as well. Classes are divided by level. Athletes must have mastered their skills in the previous level to be eligible for the class. No exceptions will be made for this rule. All classes are age 6+. 

Tumbling classes run in two sessions (Fall & Winter)


Session 1 Fall - September 12th-December 5th 2020

*No class on Saturday, October 24th, Due to Gym Event*


12 Classes - $225 + GST


Session 2 Winter - January 9th-March 27th 2021

*No class on Saturday, March 20th, Due to Gym Spring Break*


11 Classes - $210 + GST

Once the first class has commenced a refund will not be available for the current session. The class fee will be charged on the 1st day of the session. Members must have a credit card on file for their class payment or can pay by cheque. Please see below for class levels & schedule:


Level 1 Tumbling

Level 1 tumbling is appropriate for beginners to tumbling up to intermediate athletes who are working on any skills ranging from their handstands, cartwheels, and round offs to back and front walkovers.

Saturdays, 11:00-11:45am.

Level 2 Tumbling

(athletes must have mastered all level 1 skills to be eligible for this class)

Level 2 tumbling will focus on skills such as standing back handsprings, round off back handsprings, front handsprings, and back walkover back handsprings. 

Saturdays, 12:00-12:45pm.

Level 3 Tumbling

(athletes must have mastered all level 1 & 2 skills to be eligible for this class)

Level 3 tumbling will focus on skills such as round off back handspring back tuck, round off tuck, aerials, punch fronts, standing back handspring series, and jump to back handspring series. 


Saturdays, 1:00-1:45pm.

**Flyer Strength & Flexibility**

                 New Addition!

Designed to develop & increase the strength & flexibility in targeted areas for flyers. Core strength, ankle stability, body awareness, back, shoulder, and lower body flexibility are the main objectives, however this class is not just for flyers! anyone with a desire to increase their strength & flexibility can join. 

Fridays, 6:30-7:30pm

November 6th-March 26th

$335.00 for 18 classes


*No class December 25th, January 1st, or March 19th. Due to Winter & Spring Break.





Private tumbling lessons are offered to any athlete of any level. You do not need to be a member of an Island Elite team to be eligible for privates. Private lessons are recommended for anyone seeking one-on-one instruction to improve their tumbling at a rapid pace. Privates can be done with a one athlete to one coach, two athletes to one coach or three athletes to one coach ratio. We currently have 7 USASF/BCCA certified coaches who can offer private tumbling lessons.
