At Island Elite, we’re proud to offer a range of specialty classes designed to help athletes grow their skills, strength, and confidence.

 

Our Excel Series offers three focused specialty classes designed to support athlete growth in key areas of performance. Whether your athlete wants to improve their jumps, build strength, or master flyer body positions, there’s a class for them!

the Excel series

Flyer Strength & Flexibility

Take your skills to new heights with Excel Flight, our flyer-focused specialty class designed to build flexibility, improve body positions, and develop the strength and balance needed for confident, controlled movement in the air.

​

This class is open to all athletes, regardless of age or stunt position — you don’t need to be a flyer to benefit! Whether you’re looking to improve your lines, increase your range of motion, or simply gain a better sense of body control, this class will help you build the foundational skills for flying success.

​

Please note:

  • There is no stunting in this class — we focus on drills, positions, and strength-building exercises that support flying technique.

  • Taking this class does not guarantee a flying position on your team, but it will help you develop the flexibility, balance, and air awareness that all athletes can benefit from.

 

Limited to 5 athletes per class.

 

Duration: 45 minutes

Summer 2025

July 28 – August 20 (4 weeks)

Mondays | 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM

  • Class runs on Monday, August 4 (BC Day)

 

Class Fee: $120 + GST

Fall 2025

Session 1: September 2 – October 28 (8 weeks)

  • Mondays | 4:15 PM - 5:00 PM

  • Tuesdays | 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM

Class Fee: $224 + GST

​No class on Tuesday, September 30th.

​

​Session 2: November 3 - December 15 (7 weeks)

  • Mondays | 4:15 PM - 5:00 PM

  • Tuesdays | 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM

Class Fee: $196 + GST

No class on Tuesday, November 11th
